their focus from African-centred innovation, depriving
the continent of critical human capital necessary for
its socio-economic development
yet in the midst of this problem
lies an opportunity
Africa’s Talent Innovation Conduit
Dr. Tony Elumelu
@ one of our recent events..

"I commend Mother Land Hub for creating this essential platform as Africa's future lies in the hands of it's global youth. Whilst the diaspora has acquired worldclass education they must not only be good ambassadors our continent, they must collectively contribute their quota in its development."
Tony Elumelu, Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation

Our Work
Join us at the Mount to witness the unveiling of our pilot innovations, in development for Africa by her diaspora
Mother Land Hub
Founded to transform Africa’s brain drain into brain gain, Mother Land Hub believes that in a digital, highly globalised world, talent productivity is no longer constrained by geography. We serve as the bridge between African nations and their global diaspora through strategic initiatives with partner countries we build economic conduits between public and private sector bodies on the continent and the diaspora. The Annual Summit brings together these stakeholders from across the continent and the diaspora to advance these objectives.
Mother Land Summit
Piloted with Afreximbank, MLS is Africa’s annual platform designed to unlock the potential of youth and professionals in the diaspora to drive transformation on the continent. The summit enables partnership and knowledge exchange between talent in the diaspora and leaders across Africa’s public and private sectors.
Mother Land Partners with Afreximbank to redefine intra-African trade to include diaspora

Our focus Areas
Our Vision
We aim to fundamentally transform Brain Drain, which has challenged the African continent for decades, into Brain Gain by leveraging the digital and global economy to spur
socio-economic development and prove that
Talent Productivity is no longer
dependent on Talent Locality

Director General of the World Trade Organisation
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala
“The diaspora is capable of contributing significantly more than just remittances, in this era where technology and digital advancements are crucial. Mother Land Hub’s plans are essential for the continent. I have high regard for what you are doing."

“Afreximbank is working to redefine intra-African trade to not only include trade between Africans on the continent, but also Africans wherever they are. We see Mother Land as the platform to do this.”
